To start with, let me just say that the XI Woodstock, held on August 5 and 6, 2005 in Kostrzyn, was great! One more time, this lovely summer fest presented portion of exquisite music and attracted hundreds of thousands (300 000!) people who showed real class –even though they represented such variety of subcultures, beliefs, and takes on life they created unified community in which everybody could feel safe and comfortable. Those who came –know and those who didn’t should regret and of course come for the Woodstock 2006, which will take place in Kostrzyn, on July 28 & 29, 2006. The city’s authorities visited us in Warsaw during our yearly money gathering action in January and sustained their invitation to hold the Festival in their town.

We’ll start admissions in March. If you have a band or work for talent agency and think you might have something interesting for the Woodstock 2006 go ahead and apply!

As always, we’re looking for creativity, atmosphere, and the unique feel of music. If you’ve got it, send us CD, and one-page long info about the band. Do not send DVDs, or tapes! If you’ll get no answer until June it means that you did not make it this time

Keep in mind that Woodstock is non commercial Festival. We do not sell tickets ‘cause it is the way to thank people volunteering for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. It can exist thanks to artists’ good will. We do not pay royalties. We just return traveling costs. For Polish artists it is symbolic 100 zloty per each band member. If you travel from other European country, we will be returning the costs of fuel. If you travel from different continen we offer travelling allowance( $100 per person).
